Though Chooks-Pilipinas 3×3 will enter Day 4 with a 1-1 slate, their effort in stunning the highly-ranked Romania was rewarded as the game’s leading scorer, Kobe Paras, was named as the Player of the Day for Day 2 of the 2017 FIBA 3×3 World Cup pool phase.

The 19-year-old Paras finished third in the day’s scoring with 15 total points in two games. He scored 12 points during their opener against Romania but was limited to just three markers in their 11-22 loss to France.

Paras and the rest of Chooks-Pilipinas 3×3 will next play on Wednesday, June 21. They take on Slovenia at 1:40am and El Salvador in the penultimate game of the pool phase at 3:00am.
